About Circle of Magic
Circle of Magic is a community where creative, soulful women get their ideas off the ground and support each other along the way. Every week I’ll share sparks of inspiration, journaling prompts, interviews with rad women from a range of creative fields, readings from the sages, free downloads for things you can make at home, and other fun experiments. More than a newsletter, this is a community of women who want to connect around the soul of creativity. We believe that:
We're here on earth to be connected. Magic happens when we gather together because the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
As humans, we are innately creative beings. We all have a creative spark that can take infinite forms, not just Art with a capital "A."
Our souls need stillness. It can be hard to carve out space in our fast paced world, but when we do, we can tap into our inner guide, the quiet voice who knows the way to our dreams.

About Alanna
I’m a midwife for new ideas, with one foot in the spiritual realms of creativity, and the other in real world, practical action. I’m a corporate boss lady by day and creative mistress by night, an artist who studied sculpture and then went to business school.
My work has taken me across five continents, from AARP’s innovation lab, to NGOs in Africa and Asia. In 2017 I invited a group of eight women into my living room to share our creative journeys. Initially, we were all feeling stuck, but slowly as the months unfolded and we continued to gather, we blossomed. Members of our group recorded songs, started businesses, and performed poetry. This simple model was so powerful that it spread to dozens of chapters around the world. It taught me a lesson I’ll never forget: that community is the secret ingredient to make creative dreams happen.
